Welcome to Pine & Dale, we are a no-appointment barbershop. If all the barbers are busy when you arrive, please take a seat for a few minutes until it’s your natural turn. Our lives are stressful enough — so please relax, order a beer or whiskey, enjoy some good conversation or some quietude. You are welcome to wait for your favourite barber or get to know the whole team. Our barbers are all highly skilled in all of our services, including candid conversations. Let your barber know what style you are going for; we are also very happy to guide and advise you on the best haircut to suit your lifestyle. As we get to know you, you won’t even have to ask — we’ll remember how to cut and style your hair just the way you like it. All our barbers are highly skilled and experienced, feel free to suggest what style you’d like or ask our barbers for inspiration to freshen up your look — let your barber know what you're looking for. We are here to guide and advise you on the best haircut to suit your needs.
Appointments Not Necessary
We are a traditional barbershop and do not take appointments. It is first come, first served. We encourage men to come in, relax, strike up a conversation, enjoy a drink and wait for your favourite barber. Life is hectic enough, slow down.
Kids' Haircuts/Grooming
We love seeing the new generation in our shop. It’s the beginning of what could be a fine tradition for a young chap as he navigates through life. He will always have a safe haven to go to, and someone to talk to. We love seeing a father/mother and son in the shop sharing some time together and experiencing great grooming. We love being there for the milestones and being part of our customers lives. First haircut, first hot towel shave, first whiskey in the shop and maybe one day he will bring his son for his first cut — yes, this is how it should work.
Purveyors of Fine Sips and Snips
At Pine and Dale it is all about the complete experience. When you come to our shop we want our customers to feel at home and feel special. This is not just a place to come and get your haircut, it’s a place where a man can come and feel like he is an oasis of authenticity and heritage. To compliment that, we want you to relax and enjoy a cold beer or whiskey before, during or after your cut or hot towel shave. We have a fine selection of beverages you can choose from and our barbers will be more than happy to serve you what you need.
Wedding/Groomsmen Private Event
So your big day is coming! Allow us get you and your groomsmen looking impeccable for the event. This is the one instance where we take reservations. Please call or email to speak to a manager; we are dedicated to creating an amazing experience for you and your friends. Our attentive barbers will take care of your crew while making you all look and feel your best. Perhaps you need a starting point for your bachelor night? Rent out the shop and start your night with drinks, music and let the barbers get you looking your best for the big night.
Son's First Haircut
We know this is a big day when you bring in your young little chap for his first cut. Moms, trust us, we understand! This is the first day in what we hope becomes a tradition for him as he grows up. It's special for us as well, and we make sure it's a memorable and fun experience. Your son will receive our First Haircut Certificate, which we fill out and send with you. It's dated and signed by your barber and even holds a lock of hair; it will help mark the first day he started his grooming regime.
